At Sala Psychology, we understand the profound impact that health and medical conditions can have on your mental well-being. Whether navigating the complexities of a cancer diagnosis, coping with a terminal illness, or managing diabetes, our therapists provide evidence-based interventions.
Research has shown that our mental health has a strong impact on our physical health, and vice-versa. We provide a variety of evidence-based interventions grounded in CBT for many health conditions, while also incorporating ACT and mindfulness-based strategies. We will work together to understand the factors that may influence your condition, learn coping strategies, improve health behaviors, improve stress management, and change unhelpful beliefs related to your health.
