Therapy Approach
I offer evidence-based psychotherapy in a flexible, personalized, and compassionate manner. This means being empathic, genuine, warm, collaborative, and supportive at all times. My approach focuses on three core areas: developing awareness, making an action plan, and skills training. I am trained in multiple evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I provide therapy for a wide range of problems and conditions, including alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use disorders, anxiety and depression, chronic stress, PTSD, chronic pain, and eating disorders. I am currently only offering therapy via telehealth (i.e., Zoom-based video calls).
